NT Flag Football
Current 1st & 2nd graders---->Sign up begins end of August! Contact Bri or Buck Else with questions.
Practice begins late August in Traer. Games every Saturday morning in September at the Hudson baseball fields.
Current 2nd & 3rd graders---> Register Online! Go to the YSF website and find your community! www.youthsportdsfoundation.org. Registration fee is $75. SIGN UP EARLY. After Friday, June 26, add $40.00 late fee. Deadline is Friday, July 10.
Current 4th & 5th graders---->Register online at YSF website (see above link). Registration fee is $180.00. An optional hard-cup chin strap is also available for $25.00. Equipment fitting date: Friday, May 15th, 4:00 pm North Tama School Cafeteria. Online registration will be open until May 14.

North Tama iJAG is sponsoring a medical donation drive from May 4th to May 8th. This donation drive supports families in need of first aid kits. Students can drop off band-aids, gauze, feminine hygiene products, antibiotic ointment, disposable gloves, resealable baggies, antibacterial wipes, cough drops, hand sanitizer, new chapstick, tissues, hard candies, new thermometers, new tweezers, etc. with their classroom teacher (elementary) or WIN teacher (secondary). The class that brings the most items will receive a reward! Any donations to the drive are greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance. Questions? The Traer Public Library is offering activities during North Tama Schools Early Outs on Wednesdays. Join in the fun from 2 :30 - 3: 30 pm.
All 3rd - 6th grade students may participate.
May 6 - Gaming Unplugged
May 13 - Watercolor Painting
May 20 - Exploring Electricity
May 27 - Lego Challenges

North Tama Kindergarten Round-Up

All North Tama current Preschoolers. will have school those two days. Kindergarteners will NOT be attending on those dates. More information will be sent out soon.
Any potential NEW Kindergarteners should call 319-478-2265 ext. 153 to get scheduled for a date.

North Tama PTO's 1-2-3-4 I Declare A Change War will begin on Monday, March 9.
Kindergarten - 6th grade classes will collect loose change from March 9-March 20. They will be competing to see which class has the highest total coin amount or highest weight. Winning classes will receive a pizza or ice cream party.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards a new playground volleyball net.
Dig deep and send in your loose change to North Tama Elementary.

We're celebrating with Spirit Days; we can't wait to see all of the fun spirit outfits!!

Thursday – Red & White Reading DayWear red and white to celebrate reading and Dr. Seuss.
Friday – Cozy Up With a Good Book!Wear pajamas and bring a favorite stuffie while we read together.
